For the best results:

Please ensure a patch test is completed 24 hours prior to use.

Numbing agents react differently for each person making a patch test essential before use.

Do not consume alcohol or drink excess amounts of milk 24 hours before using.

APPLY TO UNBROKEN SKIN

– Wash hands thoroughly

– Remove any excessive hair

– Make sure the area is clean, dry and not cold!

– Spread a thick layer over the area, around 2-3mm thick!

– Cover it with plastic film – make sure it's airtight, but not too tight. Masking tape is great for awkward places! this process can prevent evaporation, while encouraging slow and proper absorption into the skin.

– Wash your hands thoroughly after application!

– Leave for 1.5 – 2 hours (no more than 2 hours)

– Leave the cling film in place until the artist removes it!

For extra large areas (e.g. full back piece), when possible, only remove sections of the film at a time to keep the area numbed for longer – make sure to leave the cream on as thick as possible for the full 2 hours for it to fully absorb and work efficiently. That extra 30 minutes makes a massive difference!

Only apply the cream to exterior skin

No. Our cream is water based – not oil based – so the ink, tattoo and healing process won't be affected at all!

All people are different and have different levels of numbing but as long as you apply correctly it should fully numb the area for the majority of people. See the review section for more information!

If the cream has been opened please discard after 2 weeks as once the cream has been exposed to air it will not be as effective to numb.

We recommend keeping it in a dark and cold place.

The tubes are 10g and need to be applied nice and thick! One full tube would only be enough to cover a full forearm.

When the initial numbness sets in, the skin should go more pale if anything. But when the feeling comes back it's totally normal for the skin to turn reddish as the blood vessels widen back up.

You might not have the full effective numbing experience, we recommend always leaving the cream on for the recommended application time.

Many unofficial sites are selling fakes. The authentic cream should contain no more than 5% lidocaine, anything above 5% lidocaine would make the product illegal to be sold according to UK laws and regulations. 

This high percentage of lidocaine can be dangerous to use. We only use the yellow numbing cream, which is the deepest and strongest one.

1. Use the numbing cream withing 4 weeks after the seal is broken, and store it in cold and dark places.
